Planning Blog

When it comes to shooting my music video, there are many thing that I need to plan for. The first and most important thing I need to plan for is my song. As stated in previous blogs, I will be using the song 'Centerfield' by John Fogerty.  As mentioned in my Research Blog, the song is under the genre 'American rock and roll', and is baseball themed. Being that the song is baseball themed, brings up the next very important thing to plan for, location. The location I will be filming at is the baseball field at Holiday Park. I will be filming here because it is close to my house and perfect for the scenes I have planed for my video. Also the fields at Holiday Park are my stomping grounds because it is where I used to play baseball. That brings me to my next important thing to plan, schedule. The schedule I will be following is go to the field from four to five PM, two days in a row. I am going to sticking to these times because it is right before baseball practices/games start and the sun is still shining. That brings me to the next important thing to plan for which is props. Props that I will plan to bring with me are baseballs, a helmet, a glove, a bat, and a few other thing. The next thing that I need to plan to bring are costumes. The costumes that I have planed to bring so far are two different colored shirts to represent teams. Finally, the most important thing to plan for is back up plans. When it comes to location, if it were busy at Holiday Park, I could go to Bayview Park which is a very similar field, just no fence. When it comes to schedule, if something were to come up or get in the way of the schedule, I can wait out or reschedule to the next day. When it comes to props, if I can't get the props that I need I will go out to my local sport store or improvise the prop. Finally, when it comes to costumes, if I need any costume that I don't have I could either order it online or go to my local cloth store.
