 Now, the second day. Yesterday we WOULD be filming scenes 3-4, but the great state of Florda had different plans. Today it was raining so much the streets started flooding in front of my house. The wind was also so strong that my neighbors had one of their trees fall over. Even though it was raining I drove over to Birch State Park just to see if it was flooded or muddy, and it was. This post poned filming for a day. Which was really annoying. Good thing Florida weather changes in seconds. In the meantime, me and my friends practiced our rolls at my house. We also went out to the store and bought things that we needed on the first day of filming. The main store (Party City) that we needed to go to was closed by the time we got to it. Now it's the next day. I woke up bright and early to go get what we needed at Party City. Then I went to pick up my friends so we could get ready to film. My two friends and my dad were eager to jump right into the filming again. The second day of filming went smoothly. We had everything we needed. My friends were better listeners today. Everyone knew their characters and roles; the only thing that went wrong was my phone dying in the middle of filming. See you next blog.

When it comes to producing and editing my all about me commercial, there are many key factors. The key factor I will be discussing are the songs I chose. Scene 1- Sitting by a campfire   John: (sitting next to campfire with marshmallow on a stick): Hey look at this gooey mess on my stick. Hank: (staring at black mess on his stick) Mine is all burnt and gross. John: (hitting Hunter’s stick) Now it’s a black mess in the fire. (laughs out loud) Hank: Hey man, not funny! John: Hey, Derek! How much longer? We’re running out of fire (inaudible response from the   woods—scene fades out)     Scene 2- Derek in woods collecting firewood   Derek: (shouting loudly) Be there in a minute! CCR: Question 1 and 4

Hey Cambridge, I will be filming a day in the life of Dylan Tanner as I answer questions 1 and 4 of the CCR for AICE Media.   How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues? In response to the first question, let’s break it down into two parts to better address both issues.   While filming this production, I chose to use a lot of shadowy imagery with fade-ins, fade-outs, tracking and sounds to build suspense without ever giving away the ‘actual monster’s’ face.   I used a variety of camera shots spanning from wide angles to close ups. I chose a variety of close-ups of the character’s faces to only reveal looks of horror and fear and to keep the identity of the ‘devil’ under wraps.    The music in the background starts out with a pleasant and low tone sound, with is paired with a visual of a clear road leading into the woods.   The tune becomes more ominous and the visual changes into a narrower an...
