When it came to choosing classmates to work with on this project, I didn't. Instead, I chose to work alone. I choose to work alone for many reasons. First, I didn't know who I should work with because I don't know many people in this class. Also, the people that I do know were already working with other people. Second, I chose to work alone because I don't know if I could rely on other people in my class to do their part in the project. I don't know if I could rely on them to show up for filming or video and if they would do all their blogs and on time. The third and I chose to work alone is because I like taking time on my work. I like making high quality work and didn't want to feel rushed by a group. The fourth reason I chose to work alone is because of the desire for full control over decision-making and project direction. I enjoy the ability to work on my own terms. The fifth reason I chose to work alone is to minimize distractions and interruptions. This will help lead me to have increased focus while completing tasks. The sixth and final reason I chose to work alone is to avoid long, time-consuming meetings and discussions. Minimization of communication challenges and potential conflicts will help me complete my project quicker. Even though I am not working with a group of students I may need some help. I am going to have some help from some of my friends. I may even have some help from family too. My friends and maybe parents will help film and cast the music video. See you in the next blog.

  After watching the edited version of my film with m y two friends and my dad everyone was suddenly a film critic. My dad wanted me to add more music. One of my buddies didn’t like the way his body looked in the leaves. My other friend wanted to wear a mask. Temperamental actors!   I think the scenes with the natural leaves located in the park looked much better than the stor e - bought ones. Replacing them was a wise move . Th e d ay we refilmed was definitely much drier than the first shooting. Things went much better . E veryone was in better form with the sunshine.   After having another group review my film, (I showed my original and my edited version). They mentioned some points that needed to be fixed because of the weather problems. They had more positive feedback from the edited version that we reshot. I wanted to have feedback from both versions to have some comparisons and ideas. The second and edited version seemed to be more popular than the first. However, there were still more issues that needed to be addressed.  The part where I was running into the woods needed to be reshot. I thought it was cool to film this scene at dusk to give it a creepy appeal. Turns out that it was too dark to see anything, and my classmates said it was too boring. I decided that the afternoon was better for the lighting and special effects. The leaf scene with the real leaves was much better received. When it comes to producing and editing my all about me commercial, there are many key factors. The key factor I will be discussing are the songs I chose. I will also talk about where they will be used in the commercial. For the commercial I will be choosing two songs that represent me. These songs will describe me as a person. One song will represent one of my past favorite hobbies. The other song will represent a special moment in my life. But to start off with, I will announce the final picture and video order.
